Some questions: 1) Can I write a program which spiders the encyclopedia to keep it after the hour? 2) Do I get advance warnings for when this is going to happen, or is it just "bam, you have 1 hour starting now!"

i doubt the OS of the encyclopedia would be compatible with our current OSes. so no spiders, unless you find an article on how to write spiders for this OS.
