The "restart the current day" approach has a major flaw. Someday I'll die of old age, or some other inescapable medical condition, and then I'll be stuck in an endless die-within-a-day loop. Probably a pretty miserable one. The "in good health" part of the bed option fixes that. A bit risky if the bed winds up someplace deadly - I wouldn't take any trips on a cruise ship after picking this option, imagine if it sank - but otherwise this is pretty awesome.
